Aufgaben

We currently have an exciting job opportunity for a Cost & Budget Specialist - green hydrogen (gH2), reporting to the Head of product management green hydrogen (gH2) within thyssenkrupp nucera AG & Co. KGaA. You will be responsible for the development of product cost analyses, targeting cost down activities and for drafting and monitoring of development program budgets supporting the successful development and commercialization of the Alkaline Water Electrolysis Product inside gH2. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, be involved in long-term planning, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

  • You contribute to the successful development and commercialization of the Water Electrolysis Product inside gH2.
  • You analyze and assess the cost structures of existing and new products.
  • You support the respective product managers in the development of cost targets for exisiting and new products related processes.
  • You propose detailed cost down targets to ensure the long termed competiveness.
  • You provide cost advice to product development teams in conjunction with product program
  • You monitor and document continuous product related cost down measures.
  • You establish a transparent productivity reporting.
  • You develop, introduce and establish the required procedures and processes to ensure the compliance to the quality management system.
  • You create, negotiate and align budgets for development programs with internal stakeholders guided and supported by technical staff.
  • You periodically monitor, assess and present budgets for product delopment programs.
  • You refine and update budget templates and narratives as necessary.
  • You support the Sales during the bidding phase.

Profil
  • You have an university degree in business administration, engineering or similar.
  • You have minimum five years of professional experience in international development procedures , - processes and programs.
  • Moreover, you have three years experience in budget development and cost analyses.
  • You are familiar to cost monitoring processes and procedures.
  • Ideally, you have expertise in the field of alkaline water electrolysis.
  • Your intercultural awareness supports you leveraging cultural differences.
  • You have strong oral and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • You can demonstrated the ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • You have the ability to lead programs / projects.
  • You can document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • You have project management skills.
  • You are highly proficient in both German and English.
  • You are willing to go on business trips around the globe regularly if necessary.
